WHOIS
Kevin Sullivan has been TheDaaSGuy since 2023, when he decided to start collecting his thoughts, experience, and analysis around Cloud Solutions for publication through social media such as LinkedIn and X/Twitter, but his interest in Cloud End User Computing and his experience in the Technology space started much earlier…
Starting a career as an IT Professional in 2006, Kevin initially worked for a group of private equity investment firms in the Philadelphia, PA area. In his time with this organization, he worked at multiple levels of the IT department from a brief, two-day stint as a Help Desk Engineering to a Systems Administrator all the way up to Director of Information Technology over a 7+ year period. …a period which included multiple instances of his own Cloud journey and ‘digital transformation’ initiatives like implementing a Cloud-hosted Disaster Recovery practice, performing a datacenter migration to the Cloud, and embracing both Unified Communications and Hosted Desktop services.
With those experiences under his belt, Kevin made what felt like a natural progression to the Cloud Provider side of the industry and looked to help potential customers embrace the same technologies and solutions which he had. After a couple years with Xtium, a local Cloud Hosting and Business Continuity Provider in the Philadelphia region, Kevin found himself at Evolve IP by way of acquisition. In his time with both Xtium and Evolve, Kevin has worked as a Project Manager, spearheading new client Cloud implementations, a Director of Client Success, ensuring an optimal customer experience for organizations with several different solutions across a variety of verticals, a Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer, working as a Pre-Sales enablement tool to assist his Sales teams with positioning offerings and services, understanding customer needs, and designing custom-tailored Cloud solutions to help prospective customers overcome their business challenges, and most recently Vice President of Cloud Strategy where Kevin blends all of the above experiences to continue to work as a Sales Enablement tool but also further bridges the gaps between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to help determine the future direction of his organization.
Kevin resides in New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia, PA, and when not working in Cloud technologies, he is an avid sports fan and musician, performing with multiple local bands.
